The top London 2012 Paralympic Games tickets for homegrown glory

Want a London 2012 Paralympic Games ticket, but want it to come with a guarantee of British success? Get your hands on a pass to one of these five events before 6 February 2012 and you're almost certain to see a homegrown athlete topping the podium...

What event? Women’s C 1-3 Individual Pursuit
When and Where? 30 August, Olympic Park Velodrome
Who? Pedal princess Sarah Storey (pictured)
Why? Incredibly, Sarah is a Paralympic gold medallist in two sports. London 2012 will be the former swimming champ’s second games as a track cyclist and she’ll want to add to her two golds from Beijing.

Our gold medal odds: 1/3

What event? Men’s Single Sculls Final
When and Where? 2 September, Eton Dorney
Who? Rowing powerhouse Tom Aggar
Why? Aided by massive guns that make Navarone’s look like water pistols, Tom has taken home enough gold to fill a vault from Harry Potter’s Gringotts bank. Triumphs at the 2007, 2009 and 2010 World Rowing Championships, plus gold at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games have made his trophy room look like an Aztec palace.
Our gold medal odds: 1/2

What event? Women's S7 50m butterfly final
When and Where? 31 August, Aquatics Centre
Who? Swimming’s surprise package Susannah Rodgers
Why? Susannah Rodgers was a relative unknown before the IPC Swimming European Championships in Berlin earlier this year. Five golds and a silver medal later, hers is the name on everyone’s lips.
Our gold medal odds: 10/11

What event? Men’s Under 60kg category
When and Where? 30 August, ExCel
Who? Judo master Ben Quilter
Why? Quilter became world judo champion in 2010; the first British visually impaired judo world champion since 1998. Earlier this year, the judo ace repeated the feat, winning the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) VI World Games in Turkey.
Our gold medal odds: 7/2

What event? Men’s T54 Marathon
When and Where? 9 September, The Mall
Who? Wheelchair racing champion David Weir
Why? Not only has 2011 London Marathon champion won the epic wheelchair race a record five times, he’s also claimed six Paralympic middle-distance medals including two golds. He’s in good form too, having topped the podium three times at the IPC World Championships in January.
Our gold medal odds: Evens
